Five Days for the Homeless is a charity campaign founded in 2005 by students from the University of Alberta School of Business in Canada. This year it is a five-day campaign is running from March 8-12 at the Canadian University of Dubai. The campaign is run by a group of students who will live as if they were “homeless” on campus to raise money and awareness for the Dubai Women and Children's Shelter.
My heart just aches when I see a homeless person. A safe shelter is a necessity, not a want and should be enjoyed by everyone. That photo of those poor feet makes me cry. And here in America, people trash items that could save a homeless person or bring them comfort. There are so many ways to help, even if they seem small to us. Your campaign is so on target and I hope many read it and act in compassion and love.

ReplyDeletetotally agree that people throw things away without even knowing that they could help someone.
