Hey I'm Ahmad Qarjouli, I'm from jordan. This is my second experience
with the 5 days for the homeless event. Last year was entertaining and
also educational, lived 5 days in the same shoes as the homeless not
knowing what will I eat or drink and not having a roof over my head. The
experience you get from this event is refreshing and it's a good deed
to do.
DAY 1
Even though I participated last year, day 1 was harder. I lost the motivation to go and ask for donations and just roamed around doing nothing. I failed to meet my daily goal of 300 and got 260 instead, the weather wasn't in our favor it's was so humid and because of that everything got wet. Hopefully day 2 will be better.

ReplyDeleteDay 2 was a bit better, got more money for the cause but we didn't get much food this time, didn't get much sleep because of the rain. hopefully day 3 would be better
