Hello everyone, my name is Sara Ihab and I am an Interior Design student at the Canadian University of Dubai.I come from an ancient yet beautiful country called Egypt, though I have been living in Abu Dhabi my whole life. But being from Egypt had definitely exposed me to some of life’s most brutal ways in treating a human being. You see, living under a roof is a blessing that most of us don’t count sometimes. To others it’s a privilege they can’t acquire, no matter how hard they try.So this is why I am joining the beautiful cause of raising money for the homeless through the initiative “5 Days For The Homeless”. Even the tiniest of hopes that my colleagues and I will be giving to such people, adds a certain type of joy to my life.
Five Days for the Homeless is a charity campaign founded in 2005 by students from the University of Alberta School of Business in Canada. This year it is a five-day campaign is running from March 8-12 at the Canadian University of Dubai. The campaign is run by a group of students who will live as if they were “homeless” on campus to raise money and awareness for the Dubai Women and Children's Shelter.
