DAILY POST>>>>>>

Hey everyone! It is day two already and we had our second complete night under our belt! The weather was chilled and better than the previous night with KFC boxes and midnight snacks all over the place, its as comfortable as you can be lying on wood and cardboard. However, some of us had the cold breeze penetrate into our bones. BUT OH YEA, ITS DAY 3

DAILY POST>>>>>

Issam Kassabieh: Day 2 started off early reminding us of a long and busy first day; we could barely pick up ourselves off our cardboard "King-sized Beds". It was 7am when we started waking up one after the other to start another day of humility under the blazing sun. As some managed to make their "beds", some went off to wash their faces with a little bit of water I now call hope. As the clock ticked, students and staff members walked into the building, few ignoring us while most of the others showing great compassion towards us. We sat on the steps asking for money, then later towards the day a great friend of ours, Nelson, saved us with a good lunch. anyway it was a pretty long day and the usual happened, we went to classes, did our exams, and the unsual happened as well, we begged for money, food, water and ended up sleeping out in the middle of a windy night that had me shivering unable to sleep thinking about all those other people that can't seem to get an eye-lid shut simply because it is too cold. I fell asleep to the noises of the city and to the bustle of the wind.

DAILY POST>>>>>>

Day 1 when the event was to start, everyone arrived tired and weak. As the hours clicked, we all got happier. Got our cardboard posts and sleeping bed outside at noon, leaving us hours behind our daily target. It was a difficult one on the first day as we had to explain the rules and the importance of the campaign to the students. Although, some students were aware of the program but some were reluctant. The night came, and we thought of a way to keep ourselves busy. So we decided to play basketball till 1am while the other participants counted the money donated earlier during the day. We made close to 2000dhs.
